NBC San Diego Two fires broke out early Monday morning.

Ocean Beach firefighters were busy extinguishing two fires early Monday morning along Santa Cruz and Muir Avenues.
The first fire started on Santa Cruz Avenue and a fence had to be knocked down in order to extinguish it.
The second happened less than a mile away in a Muir Avenue alley at about 2:30 am according to NBC 7.
In that location a tree and shed were aflame, embers flying through the air caused minor damage to a door frame at a nearby home.
The team had to use a chainsaw to get into the shed to douse the flames.
Investigators think the two fires are connected, but there is no word yet on how.
